Happy New Year & BYOB--WHAT?

In case you forgot, because I did, you cannot buy liquor in the state of Georgia on Sundays. So, what do you think everyone here gets to do this year since the New Year falls on a Sunday? Well, bars are posting signs for you to BYOB....isn't that drop dead hilarious? It didn't register very quickly at first, but then I remembered how LAME-O this place is and wasn't surprised. I took a photo of one of the signs for you all, but it didn't turn out so well. We drove past it going way to fast to do such a thing and I don't even think you can read it. But I just had to have some sort of proof. I'm glad I have a child and can't go out and celebrate here this year because it would SUCK anyways. Who wants to pay a cover charge for a place you can't even buy a beer at? At least ALL the 100's of churches in the local area are advertising that they, too, will have their doors open for ALL to come ring in the New Year--what fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
