Past 24 hours

I've been awake, no sleep. We flew back to Texas from a trip to Florida/Georgia to visit Andrew's parents, friends, and a little mommy/daddy getaway. On the plane ride home, we noticed Salem's eyes were goopy and discharging green/nasty stuff. With all the germs and things she could have (and did) come in contact with at the airport, we decided to take her home, give her a bath, and try to flush the stuff out on our own. It seemed to get better, but only for a short amount of time. She was up and down all night long; so at 3 o'clock this AM, we drove her to the NB ER. Four hours later, the diagnosis is: PINK EYE. YUCK. We obviously knew she had some sort of infection of the eye, but we really didn't consider pink eye because they weren't red at all, just crusty green goo.

Now, both of my angels are asleep. I can hear the bed screaming my name, but how can I sleep when there is so much to do around here? We got the bags removed from the car, but that's as far as they got. Will update the trip within these next 24 hours that I'll most likely be up.
