Groovy

I think this should be our next Christmas card photo!

Last night, we partied like it was 1968. Sammy, one of the guys in Andrew's squadron, turned 40 yesterday and his wife threw him a surprise birthday bash. Now, you know we love anything that has to do with a theme, so we HAD to represent. It was held at The Magic Carpet in San Antonio, and the entire staff dresses up and acts like specific characters. They sang to him, did tricks, acted out skits, and mostly made fun of Sammy in any way, shape, or form.

Katie, his wife, even had a cake made with his high school grad. photo on it..classic!

Sammy serenading us with some Barry Manalo, Copa Cobana, and he NAILED IT!!! He used to sing at the Air Force Academy and has a beautiful voice.

In true Noel fashion, you look gorgeous! I love that you dressed up. I haven't ever heard of that place, pretty cool!

What a great idea for a party! And it looks like fun - love the outfits! I wondered if Andrew's was a special purchase or just fit with '68 because of current style trends.

You guys look so cute! I think Salem gets a kick out of her goofy parents by the look on her face as her Daddy takes the picture. You guys are always doing something different and having fun!! Yeah!!
Love, YaYa

Yes, I have had long hair before, and I'm even trying to grow it out long now. The only problem I have is that it isn't very pretty long. It just isn't as lush and full as I wish it was. So, that's why I always get frustrated and end up chopping it off to nothing!
