Copper State Vineyards

Over this past weekend, our friends, The Munds, took us out to their "Ranch House" located in Gonzales, Texas. It's only about 45 minutes outside of New Braunfels and it was nice to get away for the evening. They have 500 acres of land, so Dawn and I drove the kids around on atv's, while the boys attempted to turkey hunt. They did see A turkey; however, I believe they had alcoholic beverages in their hands at the time, and couldn't get to their weapons quick enough....standard.

After we all returned, we grilled fajitas over a fire and kicked back. It was so relaxing to be in the company of friends, and feel like you're out in the middle of know where, even though your only miles away from town. They have various homes in the area, and sort of bounce between them depending on what they want to do at the time. MUST be nice!!!!!!

I had my hood on my head because it cooled off in the evening and 5 minutes later, Salem was running around with hers on too! I guess she just wanted to be like mama!

The main ranch has 5 bedrooms and we slept in the guest house that has 2. It was convenient that Salem was able to have her own room. They also have their own vineyards, and they found some local businesses that will be selling their wine starting next year. When we woke up in the AM, there were guys outside working on them.
