Salem Marie Quinn

Yes, SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our little girl was born Tuesday morning at 7:10 am. Salem was 5 pounds 1 oz. and 18 inches long. Three pushes and the sista' was out!!! She is everything we thought we could only dream of. We made it home yesterday afternoon and are adjusting to life with a new baby. Mom and "Andrew Jr." are doing well and trying to catch up on some zzzzz's. We love her so much and I promise to write more later---Little girl is crying for a boob right now!

Belly Cast

Seriously, this is the most beautiful thing I think I've ever seen. I just wish that I could take credit for it. I wasn't blessed with crafty skills , but Aubrie sure as heck was. I can't even make a stick figure look good. So, the print on the cast is Salem's french toile bedroom theme. I JUST LOVE IT and can't wait to assemble everything once we get to Georgia. If you look at the bottom of the tree, you can see where Aubrie added Salem's name to the trunk. (Like when lovers carve their names on them!) I hope I can hold out for 2 more weeks to give it to Andrew. Let me know what you think of it! In case you noticed, yes, my left boob is significantly larger than the right one. I fell out of my chair laughing when I realized it!

Belly Shots

2 weeks to go!!! Isn't my belly funny shaped?

These shots are for my cousin Jody who I have been promising belly photos to for hmmmm...over a month now.--Oops! So, finally last night, I remembered and had Andrew snap a few for me. I had just returned from the gym and wouldn't be surprised if there was actual sweat dripping down my belly in either of them. ( I haven't looked close enough yet to check. ) Taking more belly shots is one thing I wish I would have kept on top of during my pregnancy. I just never thought about it since Andrew was away for the first 5 mths. Oh, I did get my belly cast back yesterday from my artistically genius friend, Aubrie. You all have to see. It is the most beautiful piece of art. I'm giving it to Andrew for our 1st year anniversary. ( It says on-line to give paper for your first year, so I did a paper-mache' belly cast and Aubrie drew Salem's bedroom theme on it; which is a french toile. ) I will work on posting that for you all tomorrow.

Can a Pregnant Girl Get a BEER, PLEASE?

Okay, I literally wasn't looking for a beer for myself, just a beer bong taker to get the party started! While at the O' Club 2 weeks ago, my girlfriend Lysandra and I were bored, so we went digging through the storage closet at the club to find something to do. (We were hoping for a cool neon light that we thought we would be able to just walk out of the club with; but instead, we had to settle for the amazing beer bong prop we had found.) Little did we know that the rest of the night would be centered around such a thing. First, let me backtrack, Dick Jonas, a well know fighter pilot from way back in the day; seriously, the dude HAS to be pushing 70, traveled up here this summer and put on a "concert" on base. Anyways, he is responsible for many of the "ritual" fighter pilot songs that many of our husbands have to know and sing in the correct environment. Now, these aren't songs you would necessarily want your kids to listen to. The man has a dirty mouth/mind and it just about made me want to fall out of my chair watching him sing such things to the crowd.
Here is an example for those of you who are unfamiliar( and this is probably one of the cleanest ones:)
" I love my wife, Yes I do, Yes I do,
I love her truly..........
I love the hole she pisses through
That she pisses through......
I love her ruby-red lips and her lily-white tits,
And the hair all around her aaaassssshole....
I eat her shit
Gobble,gobble, chump, chump,
With a rusty spoon, with a rusty spoon!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we're talking high class stuff here. Dick Jonas is like a God to many of these fighter pilots(to include my husband, but he doesn't believe in God; so that comparison doesn't work for him) . Oh yes, Cope Thunder was also going on at the time( that's where they bring pilots and their crews up from all over the world); so their were more people around than usual. We had the Canadians, Sweden, Japan, and other American squadrons that came up to participate. So, to conclude, the evening consisted of singing songs with Dick Jonas, making everyone in the club do a beer bong or two..... or three..., and a Crud tournment. Pretty exciting stuff!!! The guys love it and we love are guys; don't we ladies!!! You have to admit how cute it was to see our husbands so excited over meeting Dick Jonas. It was a fighter pilot experience my little "LOBO" will never forget. (Loves-Obese-Bitches-Only-----for those of you who were wondering what it stood for if you didn't already know. Yes, before my time, my husband liked the lovin' from the larger ones)

Go LOBO, Go AND............

Japan, AND.......SWEDEN, and ON, and ON!!!!!!

Salem's Announcements

No, No, don't get all excited on me now.....she isn't here yet. I'm just preparing myself. SO, I'm stamping her announcements (because I'm a dork and have nothing else better to do with myself for the time being) and I thought I would share my creation with you all. What do you think of it? Should I change anything or do something completely different? Any advice would much appreciated. Andrew says he likes them, but you know how men can be; they'll say they like anything as long as they don't have to lift a finger!
